Fallout 4 Leaked, For Real This Time
Kotaku is reporting that a leaked script for Fallout 4 has surfaced. An anonymous tipster sent in the documents to Kotaku a couple of weeks ago, most of them supposedly used for a casting-call project called “Institute”. The word Fallout is never mentioned in any of the papers, but the dialogue contains the requisite Fallout phrase, “War. War never changes”, and the casting director has worked on other Bethesda properties, including Skyrim.
This does appear to be legit. It has been rumored that next Fallout game was to take place in Boston when Bethesda employees were allegedly spotted scouting the Massachussetts Institute of technology last year. Indeed, the setting for the script is in Boston. Here’s a picture of one of the sides below, courtesy of Kotaku:
If that’s not enough to prove that this is, in fact, the next Fallout title, then perhaps the following detail from the Kotaku article will help:
The casting documents describe some of the other characters in the next Fallout‘s wasteland, like a radio DJ named Travis Miles and an engineer named Sturges who is described as “a cross between Buddy Holly and Vin Diesel.” Casting calls for both the male and female versions of the player character note that the player begins the game in a cryogenic sleep chamber.
This definitely appears to be authentic, though nothing has been confirmed. At the very least this rumor has a lot more legs than the “TheSurvivor2299.com” hoax that fooled most everyone not that long ago.
Of course, this could be another scheme concocted by some Internet Troll, so stay tuned for updates.
