Gravity Rush Review

There aren't a great many titles on the Vita that feel specific to that platform. Uncharted: Golden Abyss is a decent game that manages to shrink the Uncharted world into a portable package, but those with access to the PS3 trilogy would likely prefer to play those. Gravity Rush is not only exclusive to Vita, but it's entire gameplay structure feels custom made for the device, from the beautiful graphics to the unique gameplay.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Review

NetherRealm Studios certainly announced their arrival in 2011 when they revitalized the Mortal Kombat series, simultaneously bringing the game back to its roots and expanding on the traits that made the original trilogy so great. Since then, they've been fairly quiet, releasing the Mortal Kombat Kollection on consoles, and developing Arkham City: Lockdown for mobile devices the same year. Two years later, they've returned to both consoles and handhelds, with Injustice: Gods Among Us a digital brawler focused on iconic DC superheroes and villains.

SWTOR – Rise of the Hutt Cartel Review

Rise of the Hutt Cartel, the new digital expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic, injects new life into the game a few months after its first anniversary. There are so many things about this latest Star Wars MMO that players love, and yet SWTOR lags behind its competitors in a number of important areas. New Super Mario Bros U Review

It wouldn't be a Nintendo console launch without SOMETHING for the Mario fans to play. The Wii U has New Super Mario Bros U, and like everything in the New Super Mario Bros series, it's a fun jaunt through the Mushroom Kingdom, with the potential to play with friends and take out Bowser as a team.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss Review

Uncharted: Golden Abyss was the first game shown on the Vita, and with good reason. The graphics are excellent - not a million miles away from what we've come to expect from the PS3 entries in the series - and the gameplay just seems to scream "look, the Vita can do it as well." All of the attitude, humour and gameplay favourites return from the home console iterations of the franchise, so all in all, Golden Abyss should be at least as good as the original Drake's Fortune.

Out of the Park Baseball 14 Review

Unlike most iterative sports game series, the Out of the Park development team never rests on their laurels in the off season, making it one of the only sports titles worth purchasing on a yearly basis. Out of the Park Baseball 14 is no different: where OOTP13 received a number of cosmetic changes and feature additions, OOTP14 is about refinement, reworking a lot of the game's code and adding another layer of depth to its core gameplay mechanics – in other words, it's a completely different, new experience, something many other sports titles can't boast ...

Sand Slides Review

Sand Slides has a very simple premise. Coloured sand will fall from the top of the screen, and you must make sure that that sand falls into the right coloured funnel. You do this by creating slides, using the touch screen to direct the grains as they drop. This starts off fairly easy - some of the sand drops right down into the right funnel - but it's not long before you're having to crisscross slides and collect sand in "buckets." It's both ingeniously simple and utterly frustrating.

ZombiU Review

Ubisoft has been known to be at their most experimental with new console releases, and the Wii U was the perfect opportunity to pay homage to the first game they ever made – Zombi. Released in 1986 for the PC, Zombi was a first-person action-adventure game that takes place in a mall filled with zombies. The game's “hook” was that after a player died they would turn into a zombie and the other survivors would have to defeat it. ZombiU features a similar game mechanic, but this time Ubisoft was able to utilize modern technology to provide a more atmospheric ...

Nimble Quest Review

You've proably heard of Rogue-likes, but have you ever heard of a Snake-like? Unlikely. Obviously someone played a lot of Snake a child and thought 'You know what would make this better? If it had some light RPG elements!' And so it was that Nimble Quest was born.

Ratchet & Clank Trilogy Review

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the release of Ratchet & Clank in 2002, Insomniac takes us back to where it all began by re-releasing the original trilogy in glorious high definition! There is no doubt that Ratchet & Clank is an iconic series, and one of the crown jewels in the Sony exclusive collection; but exactly how good is the HD re-release of the game?
