JumpJet Rex Review

Every once in a while, a game developer and creator is not a man in a business suit thinking of what unnecessary spin-off or disappointing sequel game will bring in the big bucks. Sometimes it is just a group of young men who grew up on video games, play them every day, and have always dreamed of the opportunity to make them. One of Steam’s newest early access games is the birth child of just that kind of group of guys. A nostalgia bomb side-scroller than will win the heart of any gamer, JumpJet Rex, the tale of a space dino trying to save the world, needs to ...

Funk of Titans Review

January is a pretty quiet month generally for the video game community. Most people are working through their holiday backlog so games usually don't release until February at the earliest. However, indie developer Crowd of Monsters is releasing Funk of Titans this Friday for Xbox One. This ID@Xbox game takes almost everything you love from 'runner' games on mobile and puts them on a console. While the game has its issues, the game will justify the price and will be the perfect addition to mobile game loving, Xbox playing individuals.

Solar 2 Review

Solar 2 is an indie game by Jay Watts where the you control a celestial body through the massive void of space, colliding and absorbing other smaller objects in order to get bigger. Simple enough, right? The game is like Flow meets Spore meets basic physics. Your key objective is to make it through the life cycle of a planet/star while avoiding larger objects or black holes.

Bayonetta 2 Review

Bayonetta has been missed. Without her flashy moves, her torture attacks, and her unbridled sex appeal, video games have become rather boring. Nintendo, Sega, and Platinum Games have partnered together to bring us the best third party game available on the Wii U since The Wonderful 101. I havent had this much fun since the first installment and it is an experience like no other. Throughout the 10 hour campaign you will fight on aircraft falling from the sky, use enemy weapons as a stripper pole, climb mountains riddled with Angels teaming to end your plight, ...

Halo: Master Chief Collection Review

If you own an Xbox One and have enjoyed Halo in the past, Halo: Master Chief Collection is hands down the best value for your dollar you will find on the console. I think many would have paid nearly the retail price just for Halo 2: Anniversary Edition - which is the definitive version in this bundle - but to get Combat Evolved, Halo 3, and Halo 4 is a huge bonus. If you need something to play with friends this holiday season, look no further than this Halo collection which is sure to not disappoint.

The Evil Within Review

The Evil Within manages to revive some of the best parts of the Survival Horror genre with its dark brooding atmosphere and classic elements of gameplay. Scavenging for supplies and fighting your way through a detestable world hasn't been this much fun since Resident Evil 4 and Silent Hill 2. The world that Shinji Mikami The Father of Survival Horror has created cleverly combines a tasteful amount of stealth and action sequences that gives the player a great sense of awareness of the world they are traversing.

We've been reviewing a fair bit of PDP products lately and for good reason. Some we have received free for review, others we have purchased. We have had the privilege or reviewing the Fight Pads for Wii U and Super Smash Bros, the Afterglow Universal Wireless headset, this review for the Karga Xbox One headset and in the new year, their new Xbox One wired controller.

Deathtrap Review

The combination of wit and traps are the only way to stop the flood of monsters that are breaching our world. The job of guarding against these beasts is a rough one, but these defenders are the worlds only hope.
